  • I think at least some of the T&Cs should be in the OP. In particular, it looks like Australia only. I just tried the PC code on my April UK booking and it wasn't recognised.

  • Same here. Does not work in NZ.

The Promotion Coupon youve selected - {0} is not available for this rental either because that location isnt participating or some requirement for the offer hasnt been met. We have removed the Promotion Coupon from your request to provide you with the best rate. There may be other offers in the Special offer section which do apply, so you could check there for an alternative. [DRX141]

  • Also of note is that the discount price doesn't include excess waiver, which means travel insurance/Excess Insurance wont cover the whole cost.

Accident Excess Reduction daily - 19.09 AUD

Quick compare with as identical cars as i can manage:

    Adelaide airport, 3 x weekend Days (07-04-18 / 10-04-18)
Toyota Corolla with Accident Excess Reduction (down to $4500-ish) Single Driver over 30 -

    Hertz: $126.66
    RentalCars.com.au: $102.81

    • Accident Damage Excess (ADE)

Accident Damage Excess (ADE) is included in your rental rate and reduces your liability to us for loss or damage to the vehicle to the amount of the > applicable excess listed below which applies to each incident of damage or loss caused.

I think this already reduces the excess down to $4500-ish. This excess should be covered by travel insurance/Excess Insurance/credit cards ?

      ACCIDENT EXCESS REDUCTION (AER)

AER is an optional product which reduces your liability to us in the event of loss of or damage to the vehicle from the ADE to the reduced amount
      specified on the Rental Agreement.

I think the daily AER reduces this excess further, or am I understanding this wrong?
