Game has been out for 2 weeks. Was hoping I'd be able to pick it up from somewhere for $60, but the cheapest place (Harvey Norman) has bumped it from $69 to $79 in line with most other retailers.
Big W used to be the go with all new releases being $60 but they don't seem to stock any PC games at all these days

Perhaps it varies a lot from game to game.
The last South Park seemed to drop rapidly, possibly because it wasn't very successful.

I’ve found the latest far cry games to b very repetitive and just reskins of previous titles but fc5 looks amazing and I’m tempted to get it haha
3 was fantastic. 4 was pretty average. Skipped Primal. Really keen for 5
I played 3 and 4 on release (got them for free from GPU promotions) and really enjoyed both. I skipped Primal until a few weeks ago.
Turn out Primal is one of the best games I've played in a while. Being able to ride a Sabretooth Tiger while throwing heavy spears through armored enemies and having a stealth owl that can tag enemies, scout ahead, drop fire/bee bombs and also attack itself - doesn't get old throughout the campaign.
I also think it's one of the best looking games out there at the moment. The foliage and terrain are inanely well modeled and populated. I knew it uses the FC4 map, but they look completely different due to it being thousands and thousands of years apart.
I'll be getting my hands on FC:5 when it's ~$30, so 6+ months away as a rough guess.
Steam Summer Sale maybe? I doubt it will go below $49

I paid $100 for the deluxe Steelbook edition form Eb. Couldn’t find it cheaper anywhere else at the time, which is unusual.
