Google Pixel 2 USB C - 3.5mm Adaptor

I've been using the Google Pixel 2 XL with the included adaptor for USB C to 3.5mm however it has recently stopped working.

Unfortunately the ones on the Google store here; https://store.google.com/au/product/usb_c_headphone_adapter

Are out of stock. I purchased what I thought would be a replacement but have now done some proper searching and found out the adaptor must include the digital DAC and a standard analogue adaptor will not work.

Just wondering if any of the Pixel users on here have had any success using other adaptors and if so what they are using?

Thanks guys!

Hey, i had mine stop working a while ago, i found that when it was being plugged in it was being detected a USB charge device. I found that if you enable developer mode, you can change the auto detect on USB to audio device. May need a reboot after but it has working well since!

    • Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure to double check!

    Warranty?

    • Could be worth a try!

  • I just had the same issue

I called in to Google, they agreed to replace mine under warranty, but no stock for 5 weeks.

I flapping hate the lack of audio jacks on phones. Screw you Apple for starting it, and everyone else for following
