Hi OP - any headlamps on sale?

    • +1

We are thinking about offering our H2R Headlamp in our next flash sale in a few weeks.

      • +3

        H2R would be nice…

        • It would be even nicer if the low mode was 0.1 lumem or lower. 1 is too high for a light that would be used in a tent in the middle of the night (IMO)

        • I hear you…. but for fishing it's same good as Nitecore hc30 or Skillhunt H03. Way overpriced though.

        • The H2R includes battery and mag charging. In a flash sale it will be $71.97 delivered. The headband setup is also nicer than others and CW and NW are options.

        • +1

True, bring the flash sale on :)

Thanks OP, handy for going to the toilet at night without waking anyone.

Thanks, is this torch recommended for people who do house invasions?
    Asking for a friend.

    • +4

Who’s your friend? Not asking as a cop.

    • I thought the torch was for hunting only? ;)

      • Hunting down bargains?

        • +1

Moth hunting? Not asking for a cat.

        • We believe you but your username gives it away

Thanks, is this torch recommended for people who do house invasions?

No because it ruins their natural camoflauge.

Good price OP, hopefully I can pick up a rechargeable kit. Will there also be any sales coming up on the X7 or X7R?

    • Nothing planned on X7R yet. We have had deals on the X7 in the past and could probably do something pretty good if you called or emailed olightstore.com.au

  • Badmanners, i have seen reports some of these m3xs torches are cree xpl dedomed in house and have a green tint, but some are cree xpl hi which come from the factory with no dome and have a whiter light.

Can you confirm which cree leds these have?

    • Dorz, these feature the CREE XPL-HI which comes from CREE with no dome. Very recent stock direct from Olight. The colour temp is 4000K - 4500K. No green tint to my eye, but definitely more yellow than many torches.

  • Sale prices are active now guys.

  • Bought one with the red filter. Filters reduce the amount of light out the front so good to have a strong torch.

  • S*** I forgot about this! :(

    2hour sale , what's the point?

    • +1

What do you mean? Do you mean from the point of the consumer? Only people who really want the torch will diary it and order it. I did.

From the distributor's (ie Olight) perspective, the short sale means they don't have to compensate their official dealers. It is considered bad form for a distributor to sell to a dealer for Price $X, then offer it to the public at a significant discount on an ongoing basis. This usually leads to claims for compensation from the dealers and no future orders.

A quick 2 hour sale of excess stock probably gets around this.

  • Hopefully the rep can amswer. Do you know of any tubes that fit over the end of the torch to prevent side light bleed? Presumably 63in that fit.over the filter or allow the filter to attach to the end of the tube. Very useful for hunting multiple targets where you don't want to scare everything away.

    • Skyva, I have not seen or heard of a 63mm tube that is designed for this. I have seen similar for other torches. I guess you could buy and modify one of the filters and this may work, but unless it was very long you would still get some spill.

Thanks for the reply. I bought one of your filters and will have a look around. There might be generic shrouds available. Really helps with spill and reducing glare to maintain night vision.
