Anyone else notice this new feature in the Xiaomi Vac app? The robot remembers your house layout and you can now add "Zones" to vacuum instead of doing a spot cleanup or a full house sweep from scratch.
You can tell the robot to only vacuum your kitchen for example.
Has this been around for a while? I've only just noticed it.

you mean the robovac maps blueprint of my house + infra-red scanner how many occupant/logs in-out activity + xiaomi app logs exact GPS location of my house ??
Pretty sure the blueprint of my rental is available from archived copies of realestate.com.au, and the xiaomi system doesn't have my real name.
If you are concerned, then don't connect the device to your wifi. Just like Facebook, don't like it, don't use it. Simple.

Do you mind sharing what firmware version your robot vacuum is on?

Sorry for digging this up, but did anyone get a message forcing them to revert back to your 'local region' after changing the region to Mainland China? When I changed it to China, I was able to see the Zone Cleaning button but the app wouldn't let me use the Mi Robot. Any suggestions? With the Singapore server, the Zone Cleaning button is not there.
