Foxtel is getting cheap enough and the quality of the sport channels is top notch. Fox NRL and Fox AFL are awesome. Fox Cricket should be the same. Its a good move…. If you already have Fox

As someone who already has fox, this is great news as the quality is so much better. Looking forward to a new commentary team also.

  • the only cricket i really watch is the big bash, so I'm happy I'll be able to stream it via my foxtel app. i wasn't willing to pay for the cricket app just to get the bbl

The only cricket I really watch is the tests, so not a biggie.
And tbh I could live with the radio coverage if it was desperate.
The fox move will stop me casually watching a bit of BBL, which I would sometimes leave on while doing other things. So that ad revenue for my eye balls will disappear. It won't motivate me to buy foxtel unless it comes out cheaper than netflix.

  • Hopefully by then they would of fixed the problems with the IQ3 I am on my second box in 5 months if you are thinking of getting foxtel don't bother with the IQ3 it's hopeless !!!

I only watch men's test cricket and it's hard to imagine any commentary team being worse than 9's, so no worries.

  • Foxtel are facing disaster as the olds die out and the youngs have realised that a) ads ruin content b) they don't have to watch ads on Foxtel anymore.

They are going to hang onto live sport very tenaciously just as happened in the USA with their awful cable system.

Remember when Labour and Liberal promised this would never happen? Are you just going to vote for the same people that are clowning you yet again? You know Lib nor Lab are changing that shit with the amount of money Telstra pays them.

  • It's bad for the game and bad for Australia. T20 and one day are the international formats that are easier for kids to get in to, restricting access to a paid service means less kids will get in to cricket.
