Hi all, found Lowes Robina are selling T-shirts and polos 50% off. Only larger sizes so anyone found any other outlets with deep discounts on Commonwealth Games stuff ?

          @MITM: clothes and shoes amongst other things are pointless buying cheap quality, you end paying more replacing them all the time.

          Bloke next to me at work has gone through 4,pairs of shoes at 50 bucks each in 15 months, me one pair at 120 and still going.

          @unclesnake: well there’s the intrinsic value and materialistic value. Your shoes won’t have Borabi printed on the sides and I won’t be wearing the memorabilia daily.
          I understand your economic point but this has deeper meaning for me in that I participated in something special and historic. The day The Games came to the Gold Coast. Yes I may be swept up in it all, it’s been a fantastic week similar to the vibe of Expo88. But I’m still conscious about inflated pricing hence the post. It’ll all be over too soon, I’ll put all my merch in a shoebox in the cupboard for my grandchildren to discover and I’ll say I was part of that but they won’t ask did you get that “at Lowes”

      I’d be surprised at this late stage. Only official outlets can sell them. Checkout the official website for merchandise sales.
