Bought one about a year ago, when they weren't 50% off; it's a really good, bright torch, with all the bits and pieces. Wand for guiding traffic, extension tube if you want a longer run time; and the base's magnet is strong enough to hold it horizontal on steel.

Press the button for on, press it again for off. If you want to adjust the brightness, hold the button down when it's on. There's fancier tricks if you want them - double-click for max/min brightness - but on/off is enough for me, given that it remembers my chosen brightness.

What type of batt these use?

    • hmmm, clicking the link would've got you your answer much faster than asking someone else to do it for you

    • AA OR 14500

      • +1

Darkii, Both 14500 makes it brighter

        • +2

Yes but you can not use the extension tube with a 14500 cell.

      • +1

Thanks. I did read the website it did state 14500/AA was a bit confuse. Now I realise you can use one or the other.

        Cheers

  • Is 600LM considered bright?

    • +2

Its okay not the brightest but as an EDC light i would consider 600 lumens good.

      • Cheers

  • I logged in and entered code at checkout and this error came up, any ideas?

  • I am going on a 2 week camping/fishing trip soon, but I bought this just because.. idk.

  • many other similar looking flashlight for much cheaper price, but I trust the quality of BlitzWolf, will give it a go hopefully the flashlight wont disappoint. Bought One thanks. Where can we buy some good rechargeable 14500 batteries? Thanks

Go or the Keeppower cells they are not high drain but they will work okay in this light. The best 14500 cells Banggood have! I think they are re-branded Sanyo cells.

      • The keep power ones look the best.
        Can you recommended a charger?

        • +1

I have one of these lights. I think you will like it my one has a neutral white tint around 5000k.

Any thing in particular you after with the charger? I would probably go for the Liitokala Engineer 500. It can charge NiMH and Ni-Cd and lithiums but not lipos. It also has extra features like measuring internal resistance and a capacity tester.

You can get it cheaper on Aliexpress for around maybe 25 AUD.

@megod: That will work fine but its more basic when compared to the engineer 500. Also it uses USB input so max power you will likely see is around 5v at 2amps 10 watts max. So all 4 slots full will only charge at 500ma per slot. While the Engineer 500 will do one 1amp per slot.
If you are just starting i see no issues in getting this charger.

I have the Lii-100 the single slot version and i EDC that along with my torch they are good chargers especially for the price. Plus the lii-100 can be used as a USB output device.
When charging your 14500s ideally you want to charge them at a max of around 500ma generally half of the capacity is a good value to charge them at so 350-400 is perfect.

        • @aussieprepper:

Thanks for your suggestion here. Great advice

  • Been waiting for a (decent) flashlight deal for ages. BlitzWolf stuff has never let me down so taking a punt.

  • Well brought 2 seem like a good deal.

    • Thanks for letting us know.

      • +1

Still wondering where he's bringing them to.

  • I think they just ran out.

    • +2

Brb, I'm going to chase them.

  • Well it was in stock when I ordered. Now they mailed its out of stock.

  • Bought one and when I got home to my surprise it arrived already. That was quick. Only thing is there's no extension tube. Any thought?

  • Well damn I ordered over 3 weeks ago and just message that they are out of stock:

Thank you for placing an order.

We regret to inform you that the item 1271233 in your order 4%@%$@% is sold out and cleared from our warehouse.
We are so sorry for the delay.
Here are some suggestions for you:
    ▼Cancel: Cancel the whole order.
▼Refund: Ship the available item and refund for the rest.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Could just refund my money then email me, but asking me to cancel the order then giving me a refund is a unnecessary step also they could have told my 3 weeks ago.
