Australian Passport Holder needs Visa for 1 day in Singapore?

I guess as AU pp holder we dont need even Visa on arrival in Singapore if just have to exit SG airport for 1 day?

Trying to use night stay hotel using Singapore Holiday Package ($1 deal) before boarding next flight after 10hrs gap in SG

  There is often an offer of SN$30 credit to shop at Changi airport. Mrs B stocks up on duty free makeup, well worth it!
