  • How much weight can this support?

    • +1

      Hi, Will support 100kg

  • I had one of these. I find standing for extended period quite tiring.
Had to lower the table every hour or so.

    • You can also use the desk to adjust to the perfect height while sitting.

Same, but sitting for extended period is not healthy either, best to alternate.

  • I have tried to use a standing desk (for designing, video editing) for the past 4 months. Yes it's quite tiring, especially if you've had a long day. Having an anti fatigue foot pad helps, but now I'm looking to get something I can lean on - a stool-like thing. On the plus side, I don't fall asleep as much in the comfortable leather work chair I used to sit in.

    • It's a matter of getting used to it, your body that is. I bought one for work and in the end I liked standing more then sitting, you will need to ease into it

    • Hi, The IKEA desk you have linked is a different product. It is a smaller work top, holds 30kg less weight and does not have programmable height settings.

      • I take your point on the weight and height settings.

But it's not different product. While not identical, it's also a sit/stand desk.

Deal expired 2 days early and the entire website is now gone. Care to explain what is happening?

  • I'm interested in buying one of these desks (or the black leg/white top version which seems considerably more expensive). The link takes you to the Alpha online website and mentions a couple of different dimensions, however, there's no way to choose the desk size, so gave them call them to confirm. The person I spoke with (Elliot) said the price above ($650) is for the 1600 x 750, not 1800 x 750. Not sure what's going on.
