Will they be comfortable? Who knows. For a queen mattress for $249 it might be perfect for the spare room or the in-laws.

How would this compare with Koala branded mattresses?
This is a horrid deal. You will find better prices on eBay, for better products, with free delivery and at least eBay listings will give specifications such as firmness and the thickness of the layers.
For example I bought a king mattress last week for $249 after 20% off deal (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Queen-King-Single-Double-Mattres…) which is a thicker mattress with the padding layers specified.
eBay has a 60 day return policy and 12 month warranty.
Did you mean Aldi?
Haha yes I did!
I bought one of these when I was a bit desperate and while not perfect, it well exceeded expectations.
So I've bought an escosa foam boxed mattress. It super firm like a new cushion, I thought this wasn't for me. I didnt believe that people were saying you need a couple of nights. After the third night I had the best sleep in years. I know the price difference is a bit. If its firm it would be okay. I'm considering this for a spare bedroom.

Quality ?
I got the king size about a year ago. Awesome bed for the price! I'd say its a firm bed, slept on only one side for the whole year and no signs of dips forming. Great mattress for the price.
I read somewhere that returned mattresses of the vacuum packed in-a-box variety are given away to charities- I wonder which charities they are?
For the record.
The double version of this can be carried INSIDE a Toyota Echo 4 dr Sedan (2000). You need to put it in diagonally on passenger seat and the rear bench seat.
