Should I Post This 65" Plasma TV Deal?

Early last month, I scored a 65" Panasonic TH65S20 for $2170 (delivered) at Myers, Carindale by haggling. It was $2999 so there was a savings of about 28% plus it qualified for the free Bluray theatre system promotion.

I've had a few inquiries about it on a forum and a few people thought it was a good deal and wanted to see the receipt. Just wondering if I should post it, might help a few people in Brisbane?

Sure, why not? Whats the worse that could happen… oh wait… here comes the Neganator!

On a serious note, yes you should. It may not be for everyone, but those who save some $$$ will be very appreciative I'm sure!

And on a more serious note, is this a sign that OB is a little too harsh on people that they feel the need to ask on the forums first???

  • Sounds good although, i am wondering how far back you can price match ie this was early last month so i am thinking 3-4 weeks.

Would they price match something almost 1 month a go, would be interested to hear anybody else opinion?

  • Well, that's my worry. It's not an advertised price so it's a bit of a YMMV deal. Also I don't know how much the same model is going for now, maybe $2100 is now the normal price for this TV, I don't know..

BTW how do I upload a picture (the receipt) on ozbargain?

    • To post an image on Ozbargain use this
      http://upload.ozbargain.com/

And in the submit section when you are submitting the deal replace the url with the link that the Ozbargain uploader gives you after you upload the image. The thumbnail comes by itself after 10 or so minutes. Cheers

  • imo haggling shouldnt really be a deal, but meh, go for it

    • you're right. I'll just post a receipt here for those interested.

Any chance of a scan or a clearer photo?

      • Yeah it's a bit fuzzy =]

      • That receipt is useless… doesn't have retailer's name etc.

Don't you have a proper camera? If so, take a photo of the whole receipt, and wait until it's in focus before pressing the button. Use Macro setting if it can't focus and comes out blurry like that. :-)

  • yes, good deals, why do you not show some pictures for us, thought it's price is expensive, but you have save a lot of benefits.
