Useful around Christmas but I really dislike this airline.

    • I've never flown BA, but have heard good things. Curious why you don't like them?

      • Anecdotal experience as it will vary for different people/routes/destinations etc but they used to have newer planes and focus on good service and hospitality whereas nowadays planes are old and rattly, seats uncomfortable and stewardesses are usually older less enthusiastic women and everything down to food selection is just plain mediocre. But your experience may vary.

Edit: To be honest, quite a few other airlines have followed suit, Emirates and Etihad quality levels have plummeted recently too.

      • A grumpy frumpy tired and lazy airline. I wasted points flying with them on first class once. I've traveled cattle class also. Both were below par.

Agree with you, flew with them in the early 2000s, found the staff very rude TBH
      Nevertheless very good fare

    Surely this is a codeshare?

    • No, it is flying on BA metal (flights BA16/BA15)

  • Does anyone know when this pricing expires ?

    • won't be lasting long, travel agents will buy in bulk for sure

  • Too bad BA doesnt fly Melb…

    • BA only departs from Syd, but they partner with Qantas for domestic connections to Syd. So eg for the 13Dec-27Dec example above, the total fare from MEL-SIN(via connection in Syd) is $677 all in.

    Don’t forget Cashrewards 1.4%

  • It is minimum 7 nights stay apparently, and for the period I was looking at, no cheaper than Qantas.
