4 or 8 GB Drive?

Shopping Square have advertised today a 4GB drive for $4.95, but the $7.95 shipping kind of negates the great deal in my opinion. Has anyone seen a similar price elsewhere recently with cheaper shipping? Or is $13 for a 4 GB drive still worth it?

I would pay a bit more for an 8 GB drive, but 4GB would be fine too.

    In comparison

    Imation 4GB - 6.95
    Sandisk cruzer 4gb - 9.95
    Sandisk 8gb cruzer 17.95

I bought a kingston 8gb usb from 9289.com.au for ~$20 delivered a few months back.

As far as size goes, depends on what you want to store on them

imo leave it, we get usb posts every 5 minutes, but eh, your choice.

  • Domayne still have 4, 8, and 16 on sale until the 16th. From $6 to $19. Lexar, or Toshiba if Lexar out of stock. Hardly Normal also had same deal before Xmas and still might.

  • Office works have huge bins full of 4GB for $6.94, if you can get to one of those stores…

  • there had been few deals on 8 gb and 16 gbs drives in recent days. Search here.
Secondly, I would recommend a 8 gb drive.

  • When searching, just add Sort:created into the search box :)

    • Thanks Davo…
Search has always annoyed me with its seemingly random sorting of results.
Personally I think that should be the default parameter for search… who cares about a deal from January 2009?

      • mmm i agree. looks up at scotty :P
