It's the season to change health funds to get some points/bonus offers. I am with medibank at the moment and was planning on changing to AHM and found the below. Medibank is quite good, but I am only changing for the bonus offer. Are there any better options, don't like Bupa or NIB. I guess this only leaves HCF.
40,000 points for Hospital & Extras for Couples/Familes
20,000 points for Hospital & Extras for Singles
PLUS
Any 2 & 6 month waits waived on extras plus 1 month free after your first 60 days when you take out hospital and extras.
The fine print on that page doesnt say it - but Medibank owns AHM. I'm currently with AHM and have looked at changing the other way around (from AHM to Medibank) for other offers previously and was told by the CS rep that I wouldnt be eligible for the bonus offers because of this even though I'd get moved to a Medibank plan.
I'd call and check first.
