    • looks different

      • Damn I missed it you're right

    • +1

      That's a different model "HD2137/72"

      • Correct! The Costco one is the “higher”model with the touch buttons and 2 bowls(one stainless steel and one non stick)

    • That model is $14x at Big W

  • my 5 years old Tiger cooker is slowly dying…

how good are these compared to the popular Tiger cookers?

    • +1

It's a lion compared to yours.

      • what does that mean

        • It has a mane.

        • +3

          what does that mean

It's better for African food, rather than Indian food…

    • Yes, I’m also looking for a rice cooker. Does anyone know how this compares, when making rice?

  • I own one of these ….. got it in one of the bing Lee sales….it's one of the best you can get.

It is the top model phillips, they make 3 models.
This one has both a stainless steel bowl and no stick bowl, stainless is good as it doesn't scratch if you use metal utensils or have sharp bits of beef bones you are stirring…..non stick is good for rice, soups, baking as …well…. nothing sticks.

this is cheaper than Bing Lee with ebay 20% and Phllips cash back.

Very hard to get a multi cooker with 2 bowls, and harder where it includes a stainless one.

Costo card is only deal breaker for some people or if they don't live near costco.

I don't think there's anything cheap in costco, As a customer for many years

        Hi jv
        I recently stopped.

Petrol is cheap there by 25-30 cents for 98 octane and a few Kirkland products that are of good quality and price

Petrol is cheap there by 25-30 cents

          Not at Ringwood it's not…

    • +1

I only have it for the fuel. It's the cheapest on my route by 20c so worth having when I do 80L a week.

Otherwise I don't think their prices are good at all and packages are too big.
Yes the packages are ok compared with Coles/WW undiscounted, but they have so many 20% to 50% discounts that it's easy to only buy discounts.

  • I have one of this for almost a year now and it’s been great as it’s a both slow cooker and pressure cooker and with the timer you can have ready cooked meal after work. Absolutely life saver for working families with young kids.
I bought this model because it comes with the stainless steel bowl as I don’t like those non stick coating.

  • Oops.. just got the lower model at full price , should've waited ahh

  • Have a stovetop pressure cooker and looking at buying this for the 2 bowls and convenience of a set and forget electric model (no monitoring the burner to ensure pressure level). Will be heading to Costco tomorrow! Thanks OP!

  • so tempted - i have a old slower cooker and a cheapo target pressure cooker but this seems so good with the stainless steel bowl.

  • I have the lesser model than this with only the non-stick bowl.. but then mine was almost half this price. I can't see much improvement other than the bowls - given that their size is no different. Does the power rating help? The non-stick bowl is amazing.. the best coating I've come across - but be careful! All it needs is the slightest scratch!

  • Anyone know if JBHIFI would price match Costco? Its a long shot (theres no Costco in WA) :P

  • +1

got one, gave it the hardest test today - 60 mins, mix of unsoaked beans + bones. Pass, thanks op ;)

  • Got one as well, great cooker! Makes great pork vindaloo in 25mins. Easy to brown the meat beforehand using the stainless steel bowl too

  • Picked one up from Ringwood, they had one left on the shelf with a banged up box.

    • There was a stand-alone pallet of them near the frozen fish
