Conveyancing Services in Sydney That Are Competitively Priced

Hoping someone has some recommendations / experience with conveyancing in Sydney.

We're looking to sell soon and need to draw up a contract of sale. From what I can see $1200 is about the norm but I was hoping someone might have recommendations for somewhere a bit more affordable.

I've looked through the DIY process but the sale and purchase process is stressful enough so I'm OK with spending a little on this bit - just trying to minimise it.

Any thoughts would be great, thank you

  • Keen to know as well.

My few experiences have been better with a conveyancer than a solicitor. They are two different things, they can do the same job, but conveyancers can only do that 'conveyancing', solicitors are lawyers that do other things and conveyancing is just a cash cow they churn and burn on the side.

Edit: Can't help you on price, but in all honestly a potential $500,000 + property transaction wouldn't you just spend $1,200 for peace of mind? What can you realistically save? $200 or $300 max.

  • Just out of interest, when looking for a real estate agent, did you look for the best one (for your needs) or the cheapest one?

    • Neither really. We went with the least smarmy and slick one who we dealt with when inspectiong a prior property.

I confess to not knowing a huge amount about the process of drawing up a contract of sale but it seems like a fairly generic process that has minor tweaks based on your needs, so I don’t expect you need someone with years of experience

  • Message me if you need a Licenced Conveyancer in Sydney CBD.

  • As an update, we found a great guy. Really helpful and excellent price.

Thanks to users for other recommendations, all seemed very professional
