  • COTD your keen… note the quality of these is pretty average if you've seen them in person…

note that only some of them are FULL HD.

would love to see the slim FULL HD LED though…

  • Average to say the least, and I don't really get how 32" would benefit from full HD anyway.
Anyways it is a nice price for a bedroom TV.

I guess the benefit is if you sometimes use the TV as a monitor. You don't want your Windows desktop running at 720p resolution, unless you have really bad eye sight!

  • Cheaper than Kogan!

The quality of Kogan is already bordering on "crap" already, wonder how these units will compare.

Tempted to buy one, even though I don't really watch TV and don't have any consoles…

  • what about shipping on these ?

  • -2

$10 postage Australia wide. Anyone had any experience with these tvs?

  • wish catch of the day went back to selling sony and samsung TV's at a great price..

  • Is the specifications for the 32" LCD accurate, I can't find a 32" 1920X1080 model or number outside of the COTD site.

    • They could be latest models that havent been recored online anywhere yet… common with chinese from the factory tv's ( no marketing = no info )

    • I found a few on ebay but their model numbers are different with similar specs, sansui make at least 3 different 32" LCD's or LED's with differences in specs and how it looks. That said the ebay ones were the same except it didnt list the refresh rate and specified 2x hdmi instead of 3.

    • Well I found them eventually, but the specs are different to what CoTD is telling us. HDMI x 3 to HDMI x 2

      The Australian distributor.
      http://www.englaon.com.au/page/shop/flypage/product_id/31/a/…

      Model Number: LCD32HWB

Also a concern is the difference in resolution, with no explanation what the * means.

      Resolution* 366x768/1920*1080

      • They also look quite different, so I doubt the hardware inside is even similar(pvr, hdmi difference). The one on cotd should be newer and when a tv is said to have 100Hz/120Hz it usually just means the screen attempts to refresh twice per frame.

It's newer than the one your seeing there so I reckon it should have 100Hz but accepts 50Hz/60Hz input per aus standard, hopefully.

        • If in fact it's better, I do not understand why CoTD doesn't post full model numbers of the units.

    • they must be exclusive to COTD! or the review for them a too good that the critic were to speechless to write a proper review! LOL :P

  • 2-year onsite warranty seems quite generous.

    • As the distributor out sources the service inquiries and they appear to be only Victoria based, it will be interesting to see if they could live up to the onsite warranty claim.

  • bang for your buck, these TV aren't too bad. only thing is that they are only 50Hz not 100Hz like other bigger brands.

  • Would the 26” LED Full HD TV be any good as a computer monitor?
It should have better viewing angle than a regular TN monitor.
An IPS monitor with comparable viewing angle is much more expensive.

  • My friends Sansui CRT died within a year, that goes how the quality of their products are~ I know CRT is different from LCD/LED LCD but CRT is not suppose to die in one year lol

    • good job it's a 2 year warranty then…..

My friend's Samsung died after 13 months….he had to buy a new one

  • I bought a 32inch Conia LCD from COTD 3 years ago and it's a great TV. (though only SD). based on that buying experience I would have no problem in buying one of these from COTD (as an upgrade to HD).

    that's a damn cheap price.

i have a Sansui component stereo and 5 years on it is still great.

  • I bought a 32" LED one, using it in the bedroom so if quality is average I won't mind as much!

  • Hi guys just new to this Forum I just Braught one of these LED,s

The 32" LED What warries me I went to the Englaon web site were it comes from .

And read the Warranty on the part of the panel it said …[Where there are no manufacturer specifications, JJ Aust covers the screen provided for 11 or more pixels that are failing to display].

Dose this mean that If I have dead pixels, I have to have 11 or more to get it fixed.
This does not sound RIGHT…..They have the warranty on their web site for you to download.

I hope I havent been taken for a Ride, or is this normal. I know its not for a PC Screen,s

    • If you read it in their warranty then it is true. 11 does sound like a lot, but even big boys like Samsung had "more than one" dead pixel policy last time I checked.

There are ways to fix a stuck/dead pixel on your screen as well - http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD-Monitor

And don't forget that you can always return the tv to CoTD due to "other" faults and problems ;)
It is an "A" grade lcd panel so that at least reduces the chances of dead pixels somewhat.

  • Thanks for that KGB I hope I don,t have any problems

This is the … 1st…. time I braught something Blind folded

    To good to let go
