LITB 90 Days Delivery Is Normal - PayPal dispute update

Just received this from LITB customer service

"It usually takes 90 days for the package to arrive. So it's normal that you still haven't received the package because it's still in transit. However, if you do not receive your order by 2018-06-04, please contact us as soon as possible. We thank you for your understanding in this matter. Sincerely, Alessandra lightinthebox.com"

I don't even know what I'm supposed to answer. When I bought the item they said it s 10-18 business day delivery. After that customer service told me 60days delivery and because we are over 60 days they are now saying 90days delivery.

I just want to know, do you think they will change it to 120 days delivery when it will be over 90days ????

Update 17/05:
I started a PayPal conversation after some advices I got here and they didn't even reply to it
So yesterday I upgraded it to a PayPal dispute and they directly refunded me and told me to just refuse the package if it ever arrive.

Did you use PayPal? Get a refund.

  • 120days delivery when it will be over 90days ????

    Thats Extra!

They are slow, I guess their China-Oz shipper is lower than cattle class. Then you have to add extra for AustPost (Express post even took 5 days for 100km delivery) so thats going to add more time.

I refuse to deal with LitB and ilk. They stuffed up a deal here, blamed courier, promised notifications, promised refunds…

If I didn't check that deal page, I wouldn't have known about the problem. After contacting them, they said they are processing the refund. Never happened. I had to chase it up with PayPal before I got my money back.

  • I may have paid with PayPal, I ll have a look. But I thought as long as they have a valid tracking number you can t ask for a refund ?

  • Well I've recieved everything I ordered but it took a long time.

  • I m feeling depressed to see it s normal… Next time I sell something on Gumtree and someone try to scam me I send to their address a 1$ crap from LITB and give them the tracking number…they will spend 2months of their life watching a parcel coming to their address to finally find out they didn't succeed in their scam !! That s the most evil thing you can do to someone… Lol. And in 2 months you have time to find out if the cheque clear the funds or not (cross topic joke)
