  • Will these new Li-Ion battery last longer (lifetime) than the older models?

    • Yes, Li-ion doesn't have as much of a memory effect, as Ni-MH which will diminish battery's capacity over time.

  • Does anyone know if it still uses the same charging base ?
My kids have the older model and mine is up for replacement.

    • The last one I bought which was in the Amazon deal uses the standard base, which hasn’t changed much in the last 20 years.

    • Not sure you should use a Ni-mh charger to charge a Li-ion battery.

      • +1

There's no charging circuit in the base.
It's just a induction coil, like wireless phone charging pads.

    • Also keen to find out if the new charger can charge up the older vitality range - mine needs replacement, the partner's is fine.

I've been using the AA battery version of these sorts of toothbrushes:

Works excellently with the OzB Eneloops deals of yesteryear.

$10 shipping means it's more expensive than first buy at Shavershop ($95 with $10 off and free shipping with shave10). Alternatively you could just spend $20 more at priceline.

I wonder if you're trolling. Anyway, lets clarify the facts and fictions

      • Both Priceline and Shaver Shop offer free shipping for order $100+
      • Both selling the toothbrush under $100

      Priceline: $79.99 + $9.95 shipping = $89.94
      Shaver Shop: $95 + $10 shipping - $10 first buy incentive = $95

Even if you buy it in-store with $10 first buy incentive on Shaver Shop side, $95 - $10 = $85, it still more expensive than this deal, $79.99.

Let alone, Priceline also has new member incentive, and there are gift card deal running at the moment. And, in reality, the SHAVE10 incentive only valid for $100+ spend.

I was being entirely serious, not sure why such a strong reaction from you.

I went to check out with the Shaver Shop first buy applied, there was no minimum spend. So that means it's definitely 95+10 (-10 -shipping) = 85. $5 cheaper. Last time I checked, looking for another way to save more money than the title deal suggests is part of the fun in being on OzB?

        • Did you go to the final checkout page? That's what I see

          $94.95

If you prove otherwise, I give you an apology.

  • So this one had qc 3.0 tech

  • This is available in-store as well right?

    • Yep.
