Thought this would be the group that would know the best deals as I surely dont.
My home phone and internet bundle with Telstra is now out of contract and I want to get a better value plan.
Currently get 1000GB or unlimited Telstra Cable internet every month, with a landline including local and national calls for $149 p/m
I assume prices are much better than this now, Telstra over the phone are offering me basically the same thing for $89 is this the current best deal or are there other deals from other carriers that beat that?

Assuming your cable internet is fast - $89 for unlimited data actually isn't too bad. You can easily pay $80 a month for unlimited at a half decent speed on NBN
Have you gone to the telstra website to see what the current deals are? They are a LOT better than what you list.
Plus if you're paying over $99 month, you'll be unlimited.
