Anyone Has Experience with Beko Dryers?

I am going to get my first dryer and was thinking of getting a heat pump one. This Beko dryer caught my eyes since they are cheaper at $907. It ticks all my boxes and comes with a 5 year warranty.

The only issue being I haven’t heard of this brand much and bit concerned with their reputation and after sales service.
Has anyone got experience with them?

most people go to the internet to COMPLAIN, so take these sites with this in mind.

    • Why don't you link to the model the OP is asking about?

      • Thanks JimmyF, I read this one prior to posting. Since it is a new model, there isnt much reviews around. I was more interested to know Beko’s reputation as a brand.

Its a new brand on the market, so really hard to say. Like all brands it has some issues for some.

The dryer has a 5 yr warranty, so that is something

  • Can't answer your question directly, but I've just ordered a Miele heat pump dryer. On special for $1399 from $1999, as a run out of an old model. Gets excellent reviews. As far as I can tell, Miele is the only company that does heat pump dryers with a reverse tumbler, which is essential to stop sheets from balling up in the dryer.

    • Oh man! That's a good deal
My Fisher Paykel one does reverse cycle for sheet mode.

It goes forward for say X minutes and back for Y minutes.

But X is approx ten times more than Y

  • Thanks bcarp, I would love to get a miele but it is beyond my budget. This beko one also says “reverse drum action” in the specs.

    • I stand corrected. Thanks for the heads up.

    • I thought only the high end Miele had reverse drum? Would love to know if that's not the case

      • I hope this does. I mentioned that feature to the sales person. It lists "intelligent drum reversal" as a feature.

  • I had a Beko Dishwasher in a rental property and it was a pile of garbage. Not sure what their dryers are like - But do you need to spend that much on a dryer? How often do people actually use dryers?……Maybe living in QLD the sun is our dryer.

  • from my experience - bekos are okay. Bekos are best mid range. dont buy any top range bekos as they are not fine tuned as miele or german made bosch; comes with issues.
    low end lacks any stability.
