cant wait for some comments :D - I get my rubber bands for free!

    • +1

But do your rubber bands come with a state of the art LCD watch?! ;)

  • +2

didn't they just debunk this as hocum recently?

    • Yeah I was just about to say….

    • I think ACCC cottoned on to something similar and asked for proof….they couldn't provide any.

    • Spreets seems to be trying to do the right thing by saying it is a 'Watch that Claims To Improve Everything'

But I thought it was illegal to may the farsical claims made in the body of the offer!

  • I'd rather get two for $3.17, delivered

    • Yes but does half of the cost of those go to flood relief?

      • +1

ok - how about I buy those and donate $11.83 to flood relief?

        win - win - win

        • -> kingsville

Well, if you donate the $11.83 you get the tax return for that, instead of Spreets getting the tax return from your donation to them.

so … add another win? :P

      • I can't see on Spreets stating any donations to flood relief?

Sounds like they are using it as a excuse to sell off their excess unwanted stock

        • Hi Mediam0de,

We did mention to all our users in the daily newsletter that we would be donating half of our days revenue on 13th January to the flood appeal. This included our revenue from all deals in all cities and not just the watch deal.

We can confirm that the donation has been made to the appeal and thank all our users who took up deals that day.

          We hope this helps.

          Regards,
          Spreets Team

    Useless junk isn't a deal

  • health?
probably does more damage cutting off regular circulation

  • +2

Is not even consider a deal? no prove this even work!

    • -3

No proof it doesn't either, I find it funny that so many people here have such faith in the accc when it comes to wrist bands, but what good are the accc when it comes to daily essentials like fuel? Hypocrites much?

  • +1

    Absolute rubbish.

    From http://spreets.com.au/deal/Adelaide/other/1774/just-15-to-tr… : "…draws envious looks from passers-by…"

Dear People Who Buy This: The looks are not envious - they're dismay we're part of the same species. That is all.
