    You do need to research things you don not know about. Like the first time I had an IPA and was super bitter - no point saying on every IPA deal that they are bitter though.

  I just bought both the Ardbeg and laphroaig 10 yr yesterday from Dan Murphy

  How does this compare to the normal Laphroaig?

    48% alcohol for a start, so more leeway to water down to your preferred profile.

    I have the Hellyers Original - its great - i would like to think the peated is also high quality. Let me know if you end up trying it out?
