Wireless headphones for gym

Hi guys,

Looking for bang for buck wireless over ears for gym. I've tried every pair of wireless earphones but they always dislodge when i'm running or when i lie down to bench etc so i'm going for over ears this time. Budget is no issue however i kind of want bang for buck for this one as i won't be needing to do any serious audiophile listening on it. More important is durability/build quality. Budget say $100usd-250usd however i'm flexible.

Cheers

  • I know you said over the ear but i have a pair of cheap anker wireless earphones that wrap over the ear and always stay in place. They are actually decent little earphones for the price they go for. I thrash mine at the gym and running and they are still going strong and decent sound for the price. If they are for the gym, sound quality shouldnt be too much of an issue. 100-250usd for the gym is too high of a budget imo. Leave your expensive headphones/earphones at home or for commutes/travelling etc.

    • how would you compare the sound quality of these earphones to apple's earpods?

      • Cant comment on those as i dont have them. Id imagine they are obviously lower at 1/7th the price

  • +1

ive had the meizu ep51's for nearly a year, use them pretty much 5 times a week at the gym (mostly do weights though and rowing) and never had any issues

    • This is what i own now but they always dislodge when i'm moving my head around.

  • Check my post.

  • The Jaybird series of wireless earphones are well reputed in the running community.

  • I puchased these aukey latitude headphones a month ago. They're the ones recommended by wirecutter as budget headphones. They were a bit over $30 when I purchased, not sure why they're so expensive now.

It's the first time I've had bluetooth headphones for exercise, and I'm loving them.

  • I know you said in ear headphones fall ou but have you tried the apple air pods? They don’t move at all when I go for a jog.
