    Omg. These deals from specsavers have been getting worse and worse. $10 off $99 spend? What’s happened to hawksy and his regular mega deals he used to post over a year ago.

    If anyone is interested I bought some from a US website who had a sign up bonus of 25 or 30% off. It was DiscountContactLenses.com. I made a big order to last me the rest of the year and they arrived in about ten days. Certainly worth a single order with the discount. Was way cheaper then the Aussie sites - but you don’t get a private health care rebate given its from OS. if you’ve got no rebate left - it’s worth a look

    I've been waiting for the next deal, but note that SpecSavers have not delivered again.

    My Oasis are the same price per box on Clearly Contacts, but they have $10 off and free shipping.
    …. so I will pass on this 'deal' from SS.

      Yeah cheers the tip about clearly contacts, been using SS for years (with decent coupon codes) but just used clearly now as it was cheaper and free express post. Not a huge saving, but still decent ($135 vs $120)

    A 10% discount can usually be negotiated with any shop.
    Based of last year's deals, this "offer" is a step back and does not really cut it.

    The only issue with US sites is that the cost isn't claimable through some health funds (eg BUPA)

    Yeah I'm passing too not worth it , I am looking for other stores at the moment, I ve been waiting for a good deal like before but nah , nothing, they take too long to be delivered in metro always and lately to be honest out of my 6 packs of lenses I ve been getting I had 2 at least faulty ones in my last 3 orders.
    Any suggestions from fellow bargainers are welcome
