Experience with XE Currency Exchange?

My parents was trying to send me some money to Australia for their retirement purpose and we are looking for the best way to do that. Some people suggested world first and some XE. Just wondering if anyone tried XE before and if they provide good rate.

If not, I’ll go for worldFirst.

Thank you

Try TransferWise. I have used them several times. Reliable. Good rates.

    • I second TransferWise

      • I third TransferWise, used frequently.

InstaRem provides better rate than Transferwise.

I've used both. You maybe able to call and negotiate a better rate with XE if the amount is more than 10k.

    But transferwise has better rates.

Don't forget to get a referral to open a transferwise account to get your first transfer at a reduced rate.

OFX is a Aussie based exchanger which I’ve found to provide faster transfer service, helps for peace of mind that it comes quickly and not worried its lost. Good rates too.

  • I've used XE, transferwise and OFX

XE are less restrictive (AUD -> USD in non USD country)
For simple cases it will most often come down to rate/fee
I have usually found transferwise the most competitive
