Recommed a dashcam with rearcam

Hi, can anyone recommend a decent dashcam with rearcam please?
There's 2 models in JBhifi. Navman MiVue698 , Kapture KPT-722, Kapture KPT-942. all 3 of them varies in prices alot. Has anyone used any of these models before? or has another model you can recommend. first time looking at this so not sure what to expect as well. Just after something low maintenance and reliable.

thanks

Blackvue - google it. Different version - I got mine a year back and the model would have been superseded by now

Blackvue 750s is a good dual camera option.
650 is a bit cheaper but 750 has the best specs.
    Blackvue.com.au

Also autobarn is having a dash cam sale atm. Check them out.

  • Check out the Mini 0906 on eBay, best value for money going.

  • I got the Thinkware F800 Pro when it's at 25% off from supercheap auto.

  • Have a BlackVue 650 Dual Channel, Long cable from the front to the back of my Van, Great Quality picture. Had it for 2 years now, always outside in the sun, can't fault it (except for slow wifi transfer of files from dash cam to mobile)

Bought it when it was 20% off on eBay, longest lasting DashCam I've ever owned.

  • BLACKVUE dual. If you have the cash a new 4k version us coming. Or the 750 will bow be discounted. If you also get the magic pro adapter it will record more whilst parked. To a level off your carbattery then turn off at a certain voltage to save battery. Just good to have. I did have a 650 replaced as suffered with heat. 750 version no issues so far. 2year warranty. Customer service good. Popular brand so can on sell at reasonable price if upgrading later.

    • Yeah the new RRP for the 750 is $549 ( was $599) the 750 is staying as their flagship along side the 900S

Take a look above link . ( I purchased one from them and still working after 1 year. ).

  • Dashmate - https://www.autobarn.com.au/me25676
Under $200, built in GPS and WiFi, and you have the benefit of a local supplier for warranty.

    • dont understand tech and numbers thingies
what does the dashmate not do as well as the blackvue dual, as the 750 costs $548 on sale

      • Blackvue is 1080p Front & back, the Dashmate is 1080 front & 720 back, so you get a better picture from the Blackvue.

The reason I mention warranty is that I bought a Lukas 7950 from Ebay with a 12 month warranty. Good camera, but it failed after 9 months and because it was a "grey import", the manufacturer warranty was useless as they don't actually have an authorised dealer in Australia.

The seller offered to try & return on my behalf, but I was looking at ~$70 in return postage (pay both ways) with no guarantee that I would actually get it fixed under warranty.
