Shipping / Freight / Courier / Air Mail / Forwarding of Heavy Boxes from USA to Australia

Can you please help me find a cheaper shipping method for small but heavy items from USA to Sydney?

The cheapest I have found so far are the USPS flat rate large international boxes, for US $99.75/20lbs.

I need to ship 256lbs from South Carolina to Sydney, and possibly another 256lbs from Colorado to Sydney. Each of these shipments is about 11.36 cubic feet.

And also from time to time will probably need to ship smaller amounts, eg. 20 - 100lbs. The physical size is basically about the equivalent of the USPS large flat rate boxes ie. 12x12x6 inches (30x30x15xcm) per 20lbs.

I don't need a mail forwarding service, just put that in the title in case any of them would end up cheaper than shipping directly.

    Contact Mainfreight or Diamond Freight.

Work uses them to ship multiple pallets totalling thousands of kilo's from the USA to AUS.

    • Agree you’ll have to look at freight places rather than through mail channels
