First Time Traveler - Cheapest Flights to Tokyo

Hello fellow ozbargainers I have been visiting ozbargain for years now and just made an account this year, I would like to ask for any experienced members here if you could all help me find the cheapest flights from Sydney to Tokyo for this coming december. Me and 7-8 other friends are looking to buy are tickets now so please help make our first travel a good one!

    First Time Traveler

    Some people argue that because there has never been a first time traveler, then there can never be a first time traveler. However, once there is a first time traveler, then there will always have been a first time traveler. At that point, the fact that there has always been a first time traveler would render it impossible to identify the first time traveler, because the first time traveler could always be preceded by another first time traveler, and another, and so on.

    You need to decide how long you want to take getting there.

    Direct, via the Gold Coast, or via an Asian hub.

    Try not to pay more than $600rt.

    If you are having a party with friends maybe flying to OOL for a few days then book OOL to Tokyo ret separately.

    Just Tokyo?

    A popular trip is flying into Tokyo (3+ days) speed train to Kyoto (3+ days), day trip via speed train to Hiroshima (or spend a day or 2), then back to Kyoto onto Osaka (1+ days)…..and fly back from Osaka to Oz.

    If you connect in cairns you can get flights with jetstar for around $670. They offer a discount for groups of 10 or more.
