That tent will struggle to fit 6 oompa loompas let alone 6 people…

    • its pretty big… 3m x 3m

Maybe that's what the '2 in 1' means.

When 2 become 1? Sounds spicey

    • They'd be some fat oompa loompas, it's not a small tent.

Having worked cleanup at multiple multi-day camping festivals I would advise everyone to avoid pop-up tents like the plague. They're a colossal pain in the ass to take back down again and have a much higher failure rate compared to most other traditional tents. We tend to take down and donate most tents in usable condition to vinnies, though these are almost always just thrown in the trash.

    • Whatso you recommend?

Henceforth true Oz-barginers will volunteer to clean up camping festivals😀

    • They're a colossal pain in the ass to take back down again…

What makes it so hard to take down ? Whats the pain in the ass part of it ?
Just trying to understand what the difficulty is, since I have never used these types of tent before.

    How is this "Instant"??
The instructions look much the same as for any dome tent, except this one needs two people to put up.

(assemble poles, push poles through sleeves, …)

And how can a hexagonal tent be 3x3? If the diagonal is 3m, the other axis should be 3 / root 3, about 2.6m.
Kogan is such a bullshit artist.

  • Why did they name it komodo? Do they even consider such things? Who would camp out on Komodo?

    • +2

Maybe that's why it has 2 doors.

It would really need stilts, like the huts there :)
