    What's the difference b/w Hybrid 2 & 1.

      Hybrid 2 uses one disc brake on the front. Hybrid 1 has front and rear disc brakes.

      The frame on Hybrid 1/2 are identical when i last checked. I purchased Hybrid 2 few months back and happy with the bike as a casual rider.

      It depends upon one's height, please refer this:
      Men's Size Guide: Small = 16" (150cm - 170cm), Medium = 18" (160cm - 180cm), Large = 20" (175cm - 195cm)
      Since i am around 180 cms, i will go for Large.

      I believe Hybrid 1 also has upgraded Shimano groupset compared to Hybrid 2. Obviously both are low-end groupsets at this price.

    I'm missing Cellbikes already. They sometimes had some amazing deals on kids' bikes.
    I got the 24" for my son's bd for $149.
    Not a bad deal, but "6 speed cassettes"???
    Even the 20" bikes I bought from cell about a year ago for $100 had 7 speed cassettes.
    Really?? I didn't know anyone but Big W and Ried still sold 6 gear bikes.

          I checked with them on 30/5 morning and afternoon, multiple Rebel stores and they said there is none which is available anywhere in AUS for large size. However, small was available until then. Looks like their online system does not reflect true and live inventory as they are sitting on a very old system.

          P.S: so you may start to see cancellations if you ordered for large size!

      Vintage comes only in one regular and standard size. I would suggest that you try with here in any of the nearby stores, most of the stores are having at least one vintage model assemebled on the floor for trial. With adjustments in seat heights, i believe it may work out well for you folks.

      170!!!! She is too heavy for a bike. I would suggest you get her walking first, then jogging.

      Once she is about 110 you could start looking at bikes

    Just received an email from Rebel canceling my order for the Flight Trail 1 650B bike.
    They say they have no stock and cannot order any more.
    It was ordered at 9am Wed 30/5 but remained available to order on their website for well over 12 hrs later. Pretty slack on their behalf to not remove an out of stock item with such a large discount involved.

          As the specs aren't listed in detail, it's hard to give a definitive answer. From the listed specs, the Trail 1 does have a better group set (Alivio vs Acera) and internal cable routing. Brakes are probably better too. Unfortunately, the Traverse RS doesn't list the manufacturer of the forks.

          However, for $111 you've got a great deal. Take it and run.

    For anyone considering the Flight Cruiser 115 20" Girls bike, the black version is going for $96 in store. I got $16 refunded when I collected. In the end, it was a 50% discount for me - now the next thing is to assemble it …. Rebel didnt want to do it for me.

    Just went into a Rebel and found a Flight City 3 Mens bike for $72 (originally $499 down to $249) this one but in mens . It was a demo bike and on clearance so you won't find it online.
    The guy at the register said there was only 1 more in QLD which is at the Springfield store, in case someone else wants one.

    Assembled my Flight Hybrid 3 yesterday. Need to put on front wheel, handlebars and seat so nothing tricky.
    Need to release brake before inserting front wheel - slip it out from the guide.

    The Pedals need to be screwed on also ( dont forget one is LEft handed thread - They are colour matched so match the pedal to the side that has same color sticker. Pedal bearings are a bit rough - they dont spin overly freely.

    Overall good value and the gears changed quite well. Brakes are side pull which isnt great but they stopped OK after a bit of adjustment.

    The only thing I had issues with was trying to adjust angle of handlebar stem. The Nut on one side I could loosed with a Hex key but the other side was super tight and I didnt want to force it. Going to ask if anyone had adjusted that and if there was some wierd trick to it.

        No I didnt the Hex Screw is in Super tight. It has a label that the tension is 15NM I think which is a LOT of force. I did buy a "bike Torque spanner to apply correct tension to some of the other components but even that only ranges from 3-10 NM.

        Left it at the straight angle for now, but I would much prefer to tilt it back towards me a bit

      May I ask around what time/date you placed your order? And who did you get a call from, Rebel online or a particular store?

      Whilst the Traverse 2 is a downgrade from the Trail 1, you're still getting a bargain for an outlay of only $111.

      Edit: I just read you were given a Traverse RS instead. Nice.

        I hope the lady wasn't confused. Waiting for actual shipment details. Cannot confirm 100% yet that I was given the Traverse RS. As soon as I receive tracking/confirmation of shipment I will post here. Would a Traverse RS be an upgrade over the 650B?. I placed an order for the 650B on the last day it was available in the morning prior to them removing it from the site. Only reason I didn't want the Traverse 2 is because it has no rear brakes?

    So my Trail 1 650B finally rocked up. I placed my order before midday on the 29/05 (so over 8 hours before TA's posting). Rebel made contract last week to say that delivery would be delayed. However, with other's orders being cancelled, I did start to worry a bit.
