Yeap. Character design by ex Ghibli employee Yoshiyuki Momose which was the character designer for Ni No Kuni 1. Music composed by Joe Hisashi, which made Ghibli and Ni No Kuni 1 music.
Tempted to grab it from Ozgameshop but not sure if AUS Season Pass will work on the UK edition.
Supposedly a very good and beautiful game - if you like jrpg's of course.

Do you need to play the first one to enjoy this? My issue is that I bought the first one on PSN for the ps3 and isn't ported to the PS4, I CBB to plug in the old ps3.
Nope. NNK2 only did a very short sequence in paying homage to the the first one but no recurring character/location whatsoever.

Sounds like an interesting game. Apparently Studio Ghibli was involved in production of the first one, which you can see clearly in the art style. While they aren't officially involved in this sequel (due to business structure changes) it sounds like some of the key people were still involved
