Opinion on BlitzWolf USB Type C Cables

Hi OzBargainers,

I am soon to buy a new mobile that uses USB type C. I've just been reading not all type A to type C cables are created equal, mainly due to backwards compatibilities with USB Type A and drawing too much current and also damage to the type c connector. Something to do with the cable having 56k resister…

Does anyone know if the BlitzWolf cables are compliant? I can't seem to find any reference on their website

Thanks

Ive been using them on my Nintendo switch and Galaxy s9+. They are compliant and would recommend to everybody

  • No problems with my BlitzWolf USB A -> USB C cable. I have been using it for a while, they are well regarded here.

    • As well regarded as eneloops?

      • The day of the eneloop seems to be over sadly.

  • Been using and abusing on Nintendo Switch, phone charging and data transfer.

    No problemo.

  • ya they good

  • Perfectly fine for my S8. I like the braided design.

  • Get the braided ones, they are the best. I got the standard edition when I bought a blitzwolf car charger and the standard usb cable only just stopped working after 1 year of minimal use, it has no tears or damage.

  • BlitzWolf cables are compliant

Yes the ampcore ones are great. Got lots, and they pass the benson test

  • Use it for my s8+ and switch for about 6 months and have not had any issues.

  • Thanks for the review peoples. I've ordered two from Banggood. I got the red braided ones so they'll be faster again.
