Alcohol Advertising Rules/Laws in Starting a Blog

I'm thinking of starting a blog about premium wines and might want to feature some good wine deals (e.g. from Dan Murphy's) and hopefully earn enough affiliate revenue to cover costs of running the site (this is as a hobby).

Anyone know if there will be any issues surrounding alcohol advertising laws? (I won't be selling directly but may feature images and links to other websites that do sell alcohol).

Cheers for the help!

It's the internet mate, if you can start a hardcore pornography site you can start a booze advertising site. How would there even be a mechanism to regulate the advertising of a legal substance on the internet?

    • Do you know any good p̶o̶r̶n̶ booze sites?

Like a YouTube but dedicated to reds?

  • There is an existing plethora of alcohol reviews and promotions.

There's literally advertisements on free to air TV.

    • Sides of buses, backs of cabs, everywhere!

    • And the TV ads are regulated (e.g. not shown during kids programming).
In some places, like some American states, they have to ask website visitors ages.
I don’t think there is any equivalent Aussie rule, but it wouldn’t shock me to find out there was in the ACT or somewhere.
