As the subject states, none of the eBay codes discussed on this site ever work for me. I'm an old school eBay customer since 1999 in the US and moved to Australia a few years ago. Anyone have some ideas on why none of the codes work for me? My theory is that it's because my account was originally opened on eBay.com instead of eBay.com.au but I'm not a fan of giving up on 19 years of transaction history.

Alternatively you can just create a new Aussie eBay account only for the purpose of buying things (where your feedback doesn't matter much). Some new eBay users get targeted with different promotions from time to time.
eBay doesn't really care if you own multiple accounts.
Does that mean you can use US eBay codes?

we've a few wish codes. it looks like they don't work if the cart have mixed shipped and c&c items.
You’d be best to keep your USA ebay account as it is so that you can take advantage of any USA codes.
Open a new account on ebay.com.au to take advantage of Aussie codes. To lift any restrictions send a message to eBay customer service and let them know you have been on eBay for a long time. They can “link” the two accounts so eBay knows it as the same person
Once you convert it you lose your USA coupon access.
It may be a bit more effort running two eBay accounts however to keep access to your USA discount codes and specials this would be the better option.
I was the same.
I contacted support and they moved me to the Australian data base and things work now.
The account details all remained the same, and same feedback etc.
