Kris Flyer Points Check

Hi Ozbargainers,

I am planning to buy some Velocity points from my colleague and transfer them to Krisflyer account as Velocity doesn't have good redemption rate for Brisbane to Bangalore return. Since I don't have enough balance in my Krisflyer Acct I can't check how many points do I need for BNE to BLR return flight on 14th December and return on 19th Jan. Can someone kind enough to check for me please.

  You should still be able to check how much points a flight requires.

  I do it all the times to set goals.

  I logged in to my krisflyer, select book flight and tick redeem flight, select from n to with dates to search, I shows flights but no point details, when I click on flights it does not allow me, I thought it's because I don't have points in my account. Don't know where I am wrong in checking it

    By any chance those flights are already sold out.

    3 scenarios: sold out, wishlist or available.

    The last 2 give you number of points required.

    call velocity. if its available for krisflyer redemption, it should be available through velocity even if it doesnt show on the website

      oh didnt read your op properly. you dont neer the balance to see availability on krisflyer for new year period, its probably just not availablr anymore

  It's 156k return in business and 80k return in economy. About $175 in taxes as well.
