Is eGlobalDigitalCamera Legit? How Come Their Mobile Phones Are So Cheap?

I don't expect any warranty at all, but I reckon I should expect the same ( no warranty) with other websites such as banggood, gearbest or aliexpress. But still, eglobal still has the cheapest mobile phones i've seen

The average price of redmi 5 plus 64 gb is 250-260,eglobal has it for 204. https://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/xiaomi-redmi-5-plus…

The average price of mi a1 64 gb is 250-260, eglobal has it for $219. https://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/xiaomi-mi-a1-dual-s…

Grey market Chinese products. Why the surprise? Gearbest is even cheaper.

    (1) enter store name in ozbargain search.
    (2) read results.

    • AGREE. and OP is member since 2013….

    • Done that. Most reviews about this website are for camera purchase. whirlpool + eglobaldigitalcamera on google shows some people are disappointed with this website

      • maybe that's why they are also cheaper than cheap alternatives

Bought few phones and cameras from them, they are good, sometimes you do need to chase them for faster shipment. Add shipping of $25 or more, they are generally quite good prices.

Bought an LG G4 from them a few years back when they were asking for less than half of what the Australian retailers were. The phone stopped working after a few months - LG identified that it wasn't covered by a local warranty and quoted me 75% of what I'd initially paid for the phone to repair it. I contacted eGlobal who told me that they would reimburse me if I went ahead and paid LG for the repairs. I was a little sceptical but did so and to their credit eGlobal paid me the money within a week or so. A bit annoying that I had to pay out of my pocket but I can confirm there is some level of warranty.

  • Have bought a few things from them, no issues.
Shipping actually wasn't too bad either - might have been around 7-10 days to arrive from their HK(?) warehouse
