Can anyone recommend a good keyboard?
Preferably from JB, as I can use the 5% discount on top. The primary use of the keyboard will be for typing (lots of typing) and then for gaming (fortnite, minecraft etc) for my brother. I'm doing my thesis, and my stingy laptop keyboard wears my fingers out really quickly! I'm not bothered by the sound of the keys and my budget without the additional 5% is $200.

Definitely mechanical. Don't go for membrame. Personally I use Black Widow with 5 programmable buttons.

Go mechanical, membrane keyboards are trash. See if you can find a store near you that has demos of keyboards set up so you can try different switches and find your preference, I prefer Cherry MX Reds. I have a Corsair K70 that has great build quality and can stand some abuse.

I really do recommend having a go in-store if you can on the different types of mechanical key switches. I'm currently using the Cherry MX Blue switches, and they make typing a very comfortable and satisfying experience (I enjoy the noise of the keys.)
My only recommendation would be to go mechanical, but it'd be up to what you find most comfortable really! Are you near a store?
