"Feed Me" Option in Restaurants

Hi all;

There are many restaurants these days offering a "Feed Me" Option.
Was wondering if anyone had experience with these, as to whether or not these are a different form of an "all you can eat" restaurant?

I like the option where they pick things to serve to you, but if I'm paying a large amount, I want to make sure I get my money's worth.

Thanks.

    Feed Me is just another way of saying 'tasting menu' or degustation.. They are designed for the indecisive diner who wants to try a bit of everything. They will 'almost' always be better value than ordering the dishes individually.

    They are NOT, however, all you can eat..

    • well said. If you are likely to eat a fair bit of food then they would be pretty good value. You need to check if they expect everyone at the table to have the "feed me" option.

    • Wait what really? Sounds interesting, I've never seen a Feed Me menu but I like the idea since I'm super bad at choosing something. Kool.

      • Places like Chin Chin have it.

  • Thanks for the reply.
    This is very informative.
