I’ve often used Skidoo.com.au to take advantage of Qantas price promise and gain extra 1000 bonus points. It works for the cheapest non flexible fares, but this week I had to book a flexible fare on Qantas and the fare rules on Skidoo don’t exactly match those of Qantas flexible fares. Skidoo charged a fee for flight changes still, which qantas doesn’t. If I tried to submit it, it would be rejected.
Does anyone know another Australian flight retailer that would offer exact same rules for Qantas flexible fares?
not sure about flexible fares. recently i price matched successfully with byojet for the sale fares to Japan.
Although word of caution- their price match policy was a complete joke. They somehow managed to LOSE my claim even though i got a confirmation email from them saying they received it with reference number and everything. and I had no response from them for a month- had to call them 4 times and wait 45mins each time to speak to the right person in the right department. To cut a long story short- i spent more time chasing the f*k outta them it was totally not worth the difference i was getting back. Personally I would not fly with them again given they're a 5 star airline i expected better than this.
