          This was my last email to this company - I think it says it all

          Yes we have received our order but the whole process has been very unsatisfactory. This was confirmed by Dept of Fair Trading with a conversation today. They have advised that this will be on your record for ever. I must say that having read numerous reviews on your company that this was not an unprecedented/isolated case. That you hold onto people’s money until a threat is made. They have made note of this.

          I was extremely inconvenienced by this process as I run accommodation and ordered this to use for our spring/summer season and had to purchase other items from another source.

          I will not be using your company every again.

          One more frustrated customer arrived. Apparently typical for this company story. Placed order, nothing for a few weeks after. Was trying to reach the sales team via email, phone, live chat, skype, their contact form. Didn't succeed, they even didn't bother to get back.
          So I'm about to recall credit card charge. I do believe the more frustrated customers do the same the bigger chance the credit system will kick them out and they won't steal money.
          They obviously put money into SEO and online marketing and don't have any customer service. Absolute nonsense.

          Update:
          After I sent a threatening email (using the same email as before) I got the answer within 2 hours! The email said that my item will be dispatched from the warehouse next day. The next day I got another email saying that the throw I've ordered is out of stock and I have options to wait or refund. I choose the refund. Will keep you updated how it goes. If I don't see my refund within 5-7 working days I'll reverse the credit card charge.

          Update#2:
          The refund didn't happen within 10 working days, so I disputed the credit card charge and contacted Elan Linen merchant. The merchant said last week they got 5 complaints in regards this company.

          I don't normally submit online reviews, but I want to share my experience with others in the hopes they learn from my mistake and don't deal with this company!

          I purchased a 4 pack of Aden & Anais swaddle blankets, which were listed as 'in stock' on the website. A week after the initial purchase confirmation email I had received no communication from them about my item shipping, so I contacted them to confirm if my order had shipped. I receive a reply stating that the both Elan Linen and their supplier were out of stock of the item I ordered (despite the item still being listed as 'in stock' on their website. I was given the option of choosing another item from their website, or a refund. I chose a refund as I after this specific item, and at this point I had lost faith in Elan Linen's integrity.

          I requested a refund on the 8th of September, and received confirmation that the refund would be issued 'within 5-7 working days'. I had to follow up several more times, including threatening to report them to Consumer Affairs, before I actually received my refund, 2 and a half weeks later - double what they promised.

          I just wish that I had read the reviews before dealing with this company, and there are countless stories just like mine. I wasted a lot of time and energy dealing with these people just to save a few dollars, totally not worth it. I have no re-ordered the exact swaddle pack from Myer, for $10 more, and received my order 3 days after ordering.

          The lesson to be learnt: always check reviews before dealing with a company you haven't heard of, no matter how legitimate their website looks.

          I purchased a baby cot mattress. Before buying I sent an email and asked whether they ship to New Zealand and how mych that would cost. I was told yes and given a quote. Then waited for over a month after I paid the quote during which time I was told different things about item being in stock or not. Then after anither query i got told that they qouted New Zealand shipping costs wrong and can no longer deliver for the money quoted. My baby was born then.
          Since I didn't agree to the outrageously expensive new shipping fee, they onesidedly cancelled my order and told I was getting a refund. My baby is five months old now. No refund. Seven months after i paid the money and was never sent the product. Do not use Elan Linen. They just steal your money.

          I purchased a stroller online, was advised it was in stock and would be delivered within 7-10 days.
          When I followed up, I was advised there was confusion with the stock. I was offered a refund. Three months later I am still chasing the refund. I have emailed, called, and left posts on the Facebook page.

          Like others my orders has not been completed and contact with them to inquire about my order via email or phone have been ignored. Don't be deceived by the glossy website. There's no substance or integrity to it from my experience. So many other reliable competitors to choose from. Give this one a broad miss.

          Ordered Bath sheets, washers, bath mats etc from these scammers, over a month later was still waiting for the products to be told by email they were waiting for them to arrive. Finally cancelled order and still waiting for a refund after several emails of being promised still waiting !!!! Can't contact them by phone. I have put in an ACCC complaint and Fair Trading but after reading all the other reviews I think I can kiss that money goodbye!!!

          Price promise is a lie. They don't better a price by 3%, only match it. They don't accept discount codes on price matched items, even though it is not written anywhere on the site. Discount codes are accepted at checkout, but after you pay, they ask for more money or cancel your order.

          I needed a new rug but the one i wanted was out of stock in my usual online store. Found this store saying they had it and, even better, much cheaper. Bought it straight away, everything looked great. Waited. Waited. Waited. Contacted them. Was told the same as every other customer it seems, not in stock and please wait another month. I hadn't read the online reviews at this point so agreed to wait. A month came and went, nothing. Tried to contact them again. Emailed, no response. Phone, forget it, no one answers. The online chat suspiciously gets cut off when i ask a "too hard" question. I eventually got a rug, not the one i wanted and had to fight tooth and nail to get a refund. It was so so bad. How the hell is this company allowed to trade??? I am AMAZED and FLABBERGASTED that they have any positive reviews at all. Bad Bad people.

          Hi - I would warn anyone from purchasing from this store.

          I ordered a simple kids bedspread. I had numerous engagements with the store via there online chat and email to ascertain a delivery date (note they quote 4 - 10 days delivery). Each time I was advised that the item was in stock and that it would be posted within 2 days. After being told this on three occassions I sought to cancel the transaction and lodged a complaint. They advised that the item they had in stock was shop soiled and that the item had been placed on back order. I re-affirmed the desire to cancel the transaction to which they responded that a refund would be processed within 4 days. I followed up with them 5 days later to confirm the refund had been processed and was advised it had been.

          Well - two months later Ive still not seen a refund……………

          I will now let the bank deal with it.

          If you do buy from this store - use PayPal or some other payment method that affords some level of protection

          All of these customers of yours spent their valuable time to write these reviews to warn others and I am happy to share these reviews to warn loyal OzBargain members.

          I rang Elan Linen to find get an ETA on my order. I had already received an email with a link and other information to look this up, however, I hadn't looked at the correct part of the courier's website (silly me). The person who answered my call was very informative and only too happy to assist me. She 'walked' me through the process, which turned out to be very easy. I received my purchase the very next day.           Made an online purchase which was conducted smoothly and the product arrived within a few days. Only little glitch was that the code I was given to receive my 5% discount on my first purchase did not work. Emailed the company and was promptly given another code for my 'next purchase'. This would be fine if there is to be a next purchase. Having said that, there is no reason I would not use Fab Linen again. Bought a thermal mattress topper with the Outlast/NASA technology and it is fantastic.

          My full order was delivered and within a very reasonable timeframe. I did ask them about the negative reviews which Sam clarified by saying that they have recently taken over a struggling company and the negative reviews are from the previous company although it has been renamed but product review refused to give them a new page. This was unfair of them since fab linen are working hard to offer good service and quality products. Anyway shine on fab team! best wishes

          This was my first purchase from Fab linen… I have been very pleased.. I received my order in the time that they stated.. I received an email saying that part was on back order.. I thanked them for that. Part of back order was with main delivery.. Reassured that rest was being dispatched soon.. I have nothing but praise for Fab Linen.. I received my bedspread and it was in perfect condition. Plus I love it.. I got the best price too.. Saved heaps.. So definitely no complaints.. Infact, I have been recommending them to all that wish to listen..

          I purchased some beautiful Bianca Lorenne bedding from Fab Linen, it took some time to get from nz to Perth over the Christmas/ New Year holidays, but the awesome customer service team kept me in the loop with what was going on .           I purchased a bedspread online from Elan linen ( now trading as Fablinen).
          Shortly after, I came across so many derogatory reviews that I wanted to cancel my order.
          I contacted Elan linen to tell them this, but they discouraged me from cancelling.
          I rang their suppliers in New Zealand, who reassured me of the good reputation of Elan linen.
          I received my delivery today and I would like to let potential customers know that this company is reliable and customers should not be deterred by negative feedback.

          I received an email from their customer services for an additional $10 shipping fee although my order was above the $99 free shipping threshold. I was a little surprised since I am only 7 km away from Sydney cbd. Nonetheless, Susan explained that the item was coming straight from the suppliers in Perth and since the mattress topper was still the cheapest after the additional $10 I decided to proceed with the order. Received my parcel within a week in good shape. Although I was put off a little with the additional postage but I can understand they are a small company and offer great value.

          Wanted to surprise Mrs with some new bedding and purchased mm linen products from this online store. I had been to some websites for comparison so already knew that it can take a little longer for my order to be delivered since its a New Zealand based brand. However, to my surprise, the order was delivered within a week. The quality is extra ordinary, very soft and the design is artistic. This company seems to be committed to improving its image!

          Purchased online. Received a confirmation email and didn't hear from them again for a few weeks. I started ringing the contact number provided for it to go straight to message back numerous times. Opening hours are 3-8pm so as soon as it hit 3pm I would call. I began reading reviews and discovered many people were in the same situation as me. After many emails sent and calls made, I FINALLY got onto someone on the phone. By this point I knew I wanted a refund. I asked why no one was answering emails or calls for her to say "our manager was in an accident and there was no one at the shop". I don't believe it for a second. I was adamant I wanted a refund but she persisted and said there has been a wait on the Rockaroo because it comes from another warehouse, but it was arriving today so they would send it and I would have it in 2-4 working days. I let her know that if it was not here by the fourth working day, I would be calling back and if I do not get a refund, I will be getting in touch with Consumer Affairs. Sooo… fourth day comes and still no Rockaroo. Mind you, I paid $350 so it wasn't something to just brush over my shoulder. I called and got an answer, lady was persistent in saying just a few more days. No thanks. I literally had to argue with her to get her to understand I wanted a refund. After a few more days of calling, emailing and pestering for a refund, the lady said she issued it and a few days later I received it. Thank goodness! I do not know what kind of business Elan Linen is running but the customer service is disgusting. I would never shop here again.

          I bought a sleeping sack for my baby online from Elan Linen. After 3 and a half weeks and no delivery I contacted them to ask where the package was. They then told me that they did not have the correct size in stock and would I like a different print in the correct size. This left me to wonder what they would have done had I not contacted them myself. When the package finally arrived it was not only the different print (which I was fine with) but it was actually a completely different product with a different warmth rating - a much thinner (and therefore cheaper) sleep sack than I had paid for. I chased them up about this and it was only then that the offered to refund the difference. I declined and requested to return the package for a full refund as the thin bag just wasn't suitable for my baby. They then demanded that I pay the return postage even though it was their mistake! All in all a really frustrating experience and I won't be shopping with them again.

          Purchased a stroller and a travel bag worth $635. Took 3 weeks to receive the stroller after emailing and calling them almost everyday. Another 2 weeks of emailing everyday to receive refund for the travel bag which they do not have stock. Many empty promises from them e.g. it will be shipped in 1-2 days but not until a few weeks later, refund has been issued but not until they've said that for the 4th time. Stay away!

          I normally do not add reviews but the outstanding service has convinced me to do so. I ordered a throw 3 days ago; I was expecting some guests and I needed a throw rug urgently. Elan linen guaranteed the delivery in time and within 3 days my parcel is here. This is exactly what I was looking for… a THROW - not a blanket. It's SUPER soft and washed up nicely. It is "ivory" in color - but a light ivory - not very deep yellow… which is perfect for me. Also it is lightweight.. Also good for me. Please DO NOT hesitate to buy from them due to some bad reviews, service is EXCELLENT!

          I don't usually submit reviews like this, but after being VERY reluctant to use this website after reading bad reviews calling it a scam, I have to say that my experience has exceptional. Their live chat support girl "Diana" talked me through the purchase, confirmed the product (Heritage brand All season Wool Quilt in King size) was indeed in stock, I went ahead and ordered. This was Monday night. Today (Wed) at 11am it was delivered to my door, and I should add, I live in Sydney.
          Add to this the fact that their price point was less than half what the same quilt retails for at DJs, colour me impressed!

          I purchased $300 worth of linen on line from these people. I had to chase for weeks to finally be told my purchases werent in stock. After more chasing and no results I finally asked for a refund which has been promised several times but never appears. It has now been a month and there is still no sign of the refund. I have been calling, emailing and messaging them and Ican only assume they are lying to me every time they tell me they will refund the money as it never shows up. I'm so disappointed.

          Stay away!!!! Don't be fooled by lower prices! Honestly the most terrible service EVER. I have no idea how this company is still going because they are FRAUD.
          Made an Order but forgot an item so asked them to cancel and refund which they said they did and then i made a new order. Firstly they NEVER refunded my first order, secondly after 1 MONTH of making the order i emailed to ask what the hell was going on, they responded that one item was out of stock but no one bothered to contact me which is disgusting or send the first items which were in stock??? I asked them to cancel the entire order and refund me the money because i was pretty disappointed with their service, they said that the refund would occur in 24 hours….. another MONTH later and still no refund, i have sent numerous emails, i have called - the contact number they provide they never answer i must have called 100 times over the next month. This is a FRAUDULENT company - i wish that i read all the reviews first because exactly what has happened to me has happened to so many others… Total CRIMINALS!!! At the moment I'm planning to go to consumer affairs they should not be allowed to get away with this and I'm not the only one…

          Made a purchase on line. Waited 3 weeks and nothing. Rang and rang to speak to someone all the while thinking I had been scammed. I face booked them, emailed them and left message for them to answer their phone. All the while getting more and more infuriated. Finally I get onto a foreign speaking man who could not give me much assistance. At this stage I am ready to lodge an official complaint to small claims tribunal. Finally I get to speak to someone who tells me that they are waiting for the stock to arrive and when it's in they will send it. Finally weeks later it arrived. After reading all the bad comments below I do not know how this company is still in business. Best thing to do is to have nothing to do with them.

          I ordered and paid for a product online. When it did not arrive I contacted the Elan Linen a number of times to determine its progress. Eventually Susan (sales) advised me by email they couldn't supply it so would issue a refund. However, again after trying to make contact a number of times (the phone number goes to message bank every time) I had no success and did not receive a refund. I reported them to the NSW Department of Fair Trading, to resolve the issue. The Depatment was also unable to get a response from Elan Linen, so they have now listed them on their complaints register.

          Terrible business - dont buy from them SCAMMERS.
          I purchased a quilt cover and paid via credit card $65.00 to be send an email from them 4 days later saying there website had an stock error and the item is out of stock and they will refund me within 5 days. 4 weeks later and still nothing after nurmeous emails to them and them promising a refund still. They take a few days to get back to you via email and phone number they are not contactable on.

          After reading other reviews I was worried about ordering from Elan but thought I should try something cheap to see how they went. I ordered Thusday night and the package arrived Tuesday lunch time.
          I received my goods right on time. My 3 cushions arrived in good shape. I guess it's what they say… bad experience you tell ten people, good service you tell none. I don't really think that should be the case, but I guess that's how it goes. I'm happy to say nice work Elan.

          I recently purchased a quilt cover set from Elanlinen. I was hesitant to purchase on-line, not something I do very often. I need not have worried. The quality of the linen is beautiful and the range to choose from very extensive. I needed the quilt set rather quickly for a birthday present.           Chose linen from their website that was noted as being in stock. Paid for it. Waited over 3 weeks for delivery. Linen did not show. Called them to find that they don't have stock of what was supposedly purchased 3 weeks ago.

          Extremely hard to communicate with
          English is second language so very hard to understand them or them to understand you
          Only open from 3pm EST, make its hard to get through to someone
          They don't hold the stock in their warehouse so you have to wait for them to get it in before it is dispatched to you
          My quilt arrived with mouse droppings and god knows what all through my quilt

          I ordered 2x quilt covers for my daughters. More than 2 weeks later I find out that it isn't even in stock and am told I will get a refund in 3-5days. A week later and and nothing. Total scammers. I am absolutely furious these companies can take your money, not deliver and then you have to fight to get your money back

          I was advised shipping would take 3-5 days which was great as I needed the stroller for travelling in 3 weeks time. When I called to find out when I'd receive the stroller (as I wasn't sent anything after 3 days), and they didn't answer their phone (within business hours) I wondered if it was a scam too. Eventually I received an email asking when I'd like to receive the stroller (huh?) when advised ASAP there was a lot of false promises it would arrive but the stroller as expected never arrived in time. I requested a refund but my email was ignored. I wish I read these reviews before purchasing from this 'business', would have saved me a lot of time.

          This business does not answer its phone. The only way you can make contact is via their online chat forum. After waiting almost 2 weeks to receive my items they still haven't arrived. Have requested a refund and have been told I will receive it within 3-5 days. After reading other reviews I am very sceptical about this happening. Do not purchase anything from Elan Linen. They are extremely unprofessional and their communication is virtually non-existent.

          Keep going, let's see how high we can get this post in googles search results

    Two agents have tried to disgraced my deal which were hired by other companies to do so and market there product so they both lose by using there lack of knowledge and lack of shopping experience and brand experience they did there best but they fail
