Whats the visa issue? You apply online these days $25 USD with the e-visa

      • Where did you pay $25 USD?

        • +1

$25 USD is the stamping fee. Payable when you arrive with your passport, approval letter, completed entry and exit form and your 2 photos.

        • @Eeples: yes, that is so correct.

use the link from DFAT for the vietnam online visa page it costs US$25.

$280 unless it was any other visa than your regular tourism visa then you were majorly ripped off. and a hassle? electronically it takes less than 3 days. then you print out the piece of paper and show that when you arrive in vietnam.

some entrance points have visa-on-arrival visas.

    • Just went in May … Visa is $99 from the Consulate in Edgecliff. Application forms are downloadable online in a Word format. How come you paid $280pp? Did you stay longer than 30 days?

    • Sounds like you may have been ripped off.

Who did you pay this money to?

Please let us know so we can avoid getting scammed.

  • Or it's free for 14 days if you have a british passport. Just a thought.

  • use the link from DFAT for the vietnam online visa page it costs US$25.

  • Sorry looks likely I made a big mistake the visas for our group was for a place in China that's why I let my wife handle things so sorry ozbargainers for the wrong info.
