Best Decent Phone for Pokemon Go

Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time posting.

I was wanting to get some reccomendations on a semi decent phone to play pokemon go. (Max of $250)

Can be locked. As i have a main phone that i can tether from.

I know ozbargain has an amazing variety of phone deals.

If you plan on using a gotcha (https://www.ozgameshop.com/mobile-gaming/go-tcha-wristband-f…) iPhones are the preferred device - the go plus and gotcha have issues with android phones - 1-2 second lag compared to iPhones/iPads which are pretty much instant.

If you're not using it with a go plus/gotcha then go for something with a 4000mah battery (redmi note 4/5).
