MEIZU EP51 - How Do You Get Them to Stay in!

Hey Guys, on the recommendation of this forum, I've purchased some MEIZU EP51 bluetooth headphones. They sound great, but I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong. Does anyone have any tips? I've tried all tips that come with the phones, small medium and large. Sometimes they stay in, but they are seated so badly, the audio quality is terrible. Any suggestions would be greatly received.

My ears canals don't work well with the silicon type tips they feel uncomfortable and always end up falling out but with memory foam tips they stay in, seal great and are comfortable.

I use Comply tips but you can get knockoffs for really cheap on ebay to try out.

    • Thanks, I have some comply knockoffs for my wired buds. Do you know which model would work with these?

  • I had the same issue - unfortunately they have a custom ear tip with an integral retainer that is not compatible with other e.g. comply style tips.
Anyhow, my ones stopped working after a few weeks and ended up getting some QCY QC19 which fitted much better.

  • I push in (they don’t go very deep) then twist twist twist a couple of degrees each way until they are snug. It took a while to learn but they stay in on the treadmill, cycling with them requires frequent adjustments to stay in and get a nice sound.

    • Thanks, that's what I've been doing, but haven't go it quite right yet, especially the right ear.

I have ears that don't accept anything other than soft round silicone inserts (ear plug types) and have spent so much money on trying different alternatives over the years.
