Don't bother looking at Telstra. 5 pages of crap, and 3 of them are mobile phone cases and screen protectors of various designs.
Probably easier to sort view into "most expensive first" and then you can see a couple of items. Nothing that interested me though.

    • Only heard of Teds cameras

Are you expecting us to believe you've never heard of Aquaholics Online Aquarium Supplies?

    I don't need a shed.

Hey cool Ocam Industries is in the list - they make a great razor.

    • I learned that from the movie Contact as a kid.

Who says Hollywood can't teach us anything ;).

  • lol, i dont pull the trigger for things i dont need, 20% and 10% are very much frequent now.

  • Here's my attempt at a search link:

    EbaySearch: Payment 20%

Not sure which store is not working though.

    • The storeid is not the store url it's the store's username.

      So for 123taustralia it's 123t_australia.

      • Well there you go, they can't make it easy can they.

  • Thanks Ta
Confused now which one should I use
    5% , 10% or 20% ?

  • +25
  • Lucky gearbite wasn't in there, or else I will cry my heart out after the the xiaomi roborock purchase.

  • I wonder how they pick these stores…seems a bit random. Shame it's not 20% off all sellers.

  • Whats the minimum spend?

  • +4

Ted’s Cameras appear to have dropped all Fuji camera gear from their store. A coindence I’m sure.

    • I looked at their Panasonic GX85 last night. Can't find it now. Not too sure if it is sold out or the listing removed.

  • Any good deals on 65" and above t'vs?

  • There any chromecast?

  • No Dell?

  • +1

This is a great deal, I just wish Ted's Camera ebay store had more stuff in it.

  • any good headphone deals?

    • Search link is in the OP.

      • edit: never mind, link works fine

Cool, so I can buy a 2Tb portable Seagate for $105.80 delivered after 20% off today only https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Seagate-2TB-Expansion-Portable-D… or I could get one from Officeworks for $84 delivered anyday. https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/seagate-2t…

    Bargains, bargains bargains!

  • +2

I heard from a store that in these sales Ebay covers 10% and the store needs to cover 10%, so them jacking the price by 10% is their way of covering their loss, but still it feelsbadman.

    • I heard its 15% stores/5% eBay

I don't blame them for jacking, i blame eBay

  • Teds have nothing good for sale in Fuji area :(

  • You saved AU $259.99 on this purchase.

    Boom. That worked.

  • Cool. Just got the latest DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus V2.0 with built-in screen for $2,200. Thanks TA. After GST claim-back for biz; $2K. Can't beat that!

  • Grrr seller can even change the price when you're at the checkout page https://i.imgur.com/ibWg7GS.jpg

    luvyourphone confirmed price jacking

    • Also have to keep a look out for those delivery fees that magically increase in the cart/checkout.

      • Boo that sucks.

Really need an older iPhone (6 or 6s). I had it in my cart at $179 (with discount) then they jacked the price before I clicked "confirm payment".

I contacted the seller (no response) and ebay (basically said it's upto them to do it if they want- removing themselves from all responsibility)

        • And would DoFT or the ACCC/DoFT it's fair for an item to be advertised at a given price, but then get withdrawn at checkout, only to be re-advertised at a higher price (and perhaps an even larger advertised 'discount')?

Vendors claim the advertising of cheap items are honest make mistakes, but listing something is advertising it. How can they support their claim that it is not an act of deception? Do we know enough about the commercial return that can be had by doing this from click-throughs, online advertising, driving traffic, reaching marketing goals, etc.? It is not quite like placing heavily discounted items in a catalogue and drawing everyone in store to find out the one item for sale at that price sold on the day it was advertised, but it might.

  • ausluck didnt price jack their ipads

  • Good to see easyshed participating as I had an eye on one of their sheds but when I go to their ebay store I get:

We will be back up and running ASAP. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please note pricing is incorrect and will not be honoured.

    Thanks easyshed!

  • What is actually the point in these sales, for PC components i would now be paying more than i would when it was 10% off.

  • I want an external 8Tb hard drive, but the cheapest the featured stores can provide is a bare drive for $288, after discount. Amazon US offers an external drive for ~AU$230 delivered.

  • i bought a drone for $1200 and then straight after i bought it the 5x flybuys points offer appeared

    • So you could have saved $15. Not much but you need a lot more to get sydney house proerperties

  • Why have they taken away the ability to search within the 20% off stores?
They use to have a search box around the middle of the screen, but its been missing from the last couple of deals.

Yes, I know there is one at the top of this post, but why would Ebay remove this?

    Fujifilm X-T20 + 18-55mm Silver @ Teds came to AU $1,289.91 (delivered).

With cashback https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/375727, it comes to $989.91! Bargain!

  • What a waste of space this offer is!

Click on anything on Ted's Cameras and the listing has been removed. Even though you can't buy it, they have a DJI Mavic drone at $1700, so $1360 after discount. JB have it for $1300 and I reckon you'd get a chunk off that if you pushed them

    Waste of time

  • DJI Mavic Pro Platinum was $1250 ish on 10% off the other day, Now is $1350 ish with 20% off now. I got suckered…

  • +2

AROVA Homes has to win the price gouging award for this month. Two days prior to this sale, I bought an item from them for $124. This code goes live and the price goes up to $159 - a cool 28% increase in price. I really hope the average punter is wise to these shoddy players and votes with their feet. It's as simple as clicking on the Purchase History but I fear few people actually do it.

We should start a leader board to see who takes the prize for best price gouge of 2018. Any other takers? I reckon a 28% increase is tough to beat but I could be wrong.

    • Pardon my ignorance, but how do I see the purchase history?

I've never noticed it, but it sounds really useful.

Does it show you previous pricing on an item?

  • Many Thanks TA

  • Galaxy S8 Aussie stock new $593 (got their 2nd last one) and near new $551 from luvyourphone with 1 year manufacturer warranty. A bit unsure about their reputation - hoping Amex and Paypal buyer protection will cover it if something goes wrong in the first 3 months!
