    We like to see prices. Bargains have prices.

    Is that some sort of ice cream? Maybe a Salted caramel flavoured Thickshake with Honeycomb pieces?

      Damn, now I want one of those. I finished the 16th and final tub of Ben & Jerry's last week.

        I love Ben & Jerry's but can rarely justify the price. Even at Woolworths, it is $14 for a 485ml tub.

        I was very tempted to buy some there last week but had to settle for the consolation prize of a 1lt tub of Woolworth Salted Caramel Ice Cream, which I totally did not eat in 3 sittings.

          We got lucky and found a shop selling it 1 week after best before date for $1 per tub. Normally I'm happy with Bulla Creamy Classics.

          @PJC: You lucky… If I had come across that sale I would have purchased a freezer load.

          @xev: I estimated I could only fit 16 in the freezer. I was assured the remainder sold for 50c per tub the following morning!

          @PJC: My local cinema has a Ben & Jerry's inside. If they lowered their prices a bit there would be a line up. But because they want to be seen as a premium product they are so expensive that there is at most 1 person getting Ice Cream. You can sit there and watch many people approach the counter, spot the prices and do a quick 180.

          @xev: That's understandable because the prices are unjustifiable. The quality is good, but not significantly better than Bulla Creamy Classics.

          @PJC: Do you know if it is imported or manufactured here?

          Though even if imported it is on the expensive side.

          @xev: I think it's imported.
