Problems with Blitzwolf 3amp USB C Cables

Hi all,

I just bought 2 x Blitwolf (BW-TC9) braided cables (USB 3 to USB C) from Banggood. I have a problem with them. It appears they don't like some types of wall chargers, either quick charger, regular chargers or even car chargers. They just don't work on some of them.

Has anyone experienced this problem? I have sent an email to Blitzwolf support.

Thanks.

Are you using a quality wall charger?
Are the wall chargers you're using meet the spec of the cable?

All my phone cables are Blitzwolf and I've never had any issues with them.

Most eBay wall chargers tend to lie about their output rate. Which could result in it not providing enough power or charging too slowly.

    • The chargers are factory Motorola (brand new Quick Charger), Sony (slow charger) and a couple generics - wall and car charger. Not all of the new blitzwolf cables work on the Motorola/Sony chargers. None of them work on the generics.

      • Try and use a computer to determine wheater it can detect the phone or not. Then you will know for sure wheater if it's a wall chargers fault or cables fault.

        • My older USB (USB A) cables work with all of the wall/car chargers so I know the chargers work.

I still haven't heard anything back from BlitzWolf.

  • I've got two of those and also no issues for me even in other chargers.

  • ive actually stopped using my original cable and just use the blitzwolf only.. all good still

  • I've started to have rubble with one of my cables where I need to jiggle it to a certain position to get charge. I'm planning to send an email but first need to figure out which order it was from out of the countless cables I've ordered lol.

  • I have been having issues as well but didnt think much of it until now. Wont work in the car charging or from my power bank

  • It appears they don't like some types of wall chargers, either quick charger, regular chargers or even car chargers. They just don't work on some of them.

Are you sure its not your device that isn't the issue? What are you charging?

I've got about 4 of these cables, no problems at all.

I find with the 4 port car charger I have to push the A part all the way into the car charger port, then pull it out 1 or 2 mm for it to work.

Have had a lot of the Blitzwolf cables, and they are the only ones my daughter has not killed quickly. Tough as nails, and if they go to "slow charge" mode on some devices using certain wall plugs, they are the same wall plugs that all cables slow charge through (usually generic cheapies).

Do other cables charge at faster speeds than the blitzwolf cables using those same wall plugs?

I'm gonna say something that people here don't seem to realise. Maybe the cables are faulty? If they don't work in multiple chargers and phones there really can't be any other reason.

    • He said they don't work in 'some' chargers, and didn't mention devices. But will be interesting to see what Blitzwolf support say.

Again it sounds like the cables are faulty. Fingers crossed Banggood sort it out.

        • Need a comparison, I would agree they are faulty if they don't charge using chargers that other inferior cables can charge with

  • Personally i had this problem with my car charger. It was a tronssmart and it wouldnt work with blitzwolf cables, strange. I use blitzwolf everywhere bar the car, as i bought tronsmart cables so i appreciate what you are saying, and no its not you.

I have a blitzwolf fast charge wall charger and it works fine.

    So not sure.

P.S- looking for a special price on the 1.8m cable if anyone comes across a code would be great.

    cheers.
