Hi. Anyone have any suggestions for getting the NBN on a no lock contract?
They will be located in the UK for 4 months then here for 4 and repeat..
Any suggestions as they rather not pay when not here..
Looked at together but said I'd have to pay the reconnect fee each time

see if they can include it within their No contract
plan.
Internode and Aussie broadband have month to month contracts. However, if no connection has been made to that address, ever, there will be a $300 fee. I don't think Aussie BB have a reconnect fee though

most resellers will offer this.
Pretty sure mungi (i'm with them) offers month to month. Many might even offer hiatus.
Do you really want no internet while you're away? Could you have just a really crappy plan and use it for remote downloading and nanny cams while you're overseas? Some companies offer upgrades and downgrades… so you could go to a crappy tier. Although that might be a PITA

You can get a TPG plan for $30 per month and then switch up and down as you like ….

Well yeah, if you're disconnecting and reconnecting every 4 months, you're gonna have to pay that fee every month. Best idea might be to just find a place to rent that includes NBN. Or rent out the place on AirBnB the 4 months they're not in the country if they own their own place.
