was looking for a suit for my interviews and stumbled upon this. seems like a very good deal for those who are looking for higher end suits. I heard Charles Tyrwhitt and TM Lewin are of almost the same quality materials. I can vouch for their shirts but haven't tested their suits yet.

checked my size and a few sizes around my size
    nothing for less than $299

which is the regular price at CT

    • I got mine for 169 42R

  • 8 styles from $199 and 4 styles from $149

    • none in my size
I have to either decrease two sizes ie lose weight
or increase two sizes ie gain weight

      how unlucky am I lol

      • Gaining weight is the fun option.

        • True, but I guess it won't pay in the long run :(

      • Do one think. Choose the sleeve length first and then check size. I had the same issue with the cheaper ones and this method worked

Interview tip - get your suited tailored, make sure your belt and shoes match colour, polish your shoes

    • maybe for executive interview..

      • Yea. For me readymade suits fit well. Dont think it does so for everyone.

        • Pay about $75 for a suit to be fitted. Make sure the shoulders are about right when you buy it, they can fix the rest.

  • Has anyone purchased one that can comment on quality? Reviews seem to be 50/50.

I need a new suit and was going to purchase from SuitSupply at 2x the price.

    • You can get Peter Jackson for 2x the price and I think that's better. As you can go to a nearby store and check fit

    • I'm wearing one at the moment. Quality is good but importantly it fits me very well

    • I cant comment as a suit but I buy the wool and wool blend trousers as everyday work pants. Very good material.
Sometimes you can pick them up for $50 to $80 which is a pretty good price.
More so…i like the fit compared to anything at Myer in that or a slightly higher bracket.

  • Crap suit IMO.
Got one recently and it cost me $900 mind you.
    Awful customer service too.

you could have bought a boss suit from DFO for that price.. crap decision..

    • did you pay full price
      $900 ouch
i do occasionally see the ad for hongkong tailors who come down and measure
wonder if those cost around $900?

    • 😯😯. 900$!!!! You could have got Peter Jackson or hugo boss for that. Wool suit for 169 is what I found interesting here.

      • Is Peter Jackson a big brand?
Heard of Hugo Boss, Armani in suits, but never Peter Jackson

    • Ah some good recommendations.
It was a last minute purchase for a new job. Will probably go Hugo Boss next time or MJ Bale.

  • has anyone tried to return products to TM before ?

I'm after another set of suit as well but not so sure about the fit.

The return mentions it's at your own cost and risk. They don't accept returns of change of mind and of those which are altered on purchase

    • isn't there a TM Lewin store in some parts of Australia( sorry NT, Tassie)
returns should be hassle free if you live close to those
also you could try for size there couldn't you

I have returned items at Melbourne store no questions.

    • Yeah easy returns in store..they ship it back on your behalf and the online store does the refund. So it's not instant but it's worked everytime and no shipping costs. Does not apply to altered items.

  • Unidays does not stack with sale items, only full priced.

  • Hadn't heard of these guys before to be honest. When in and hunted in their single jacket and slacks area, and found the Balham grey wool suit in my sizes. From $499 to $149 (without unidays - wouldnt let me stack).

Fingers crossed it will do me over for a job interview once I finish my uni degree. If not maybe my first court appearance. I struggle to find off the rack suits coz of larger chest smaller waist. Also short height and therefore arm length (i represent the lollipop guild - on the best of days). 40S jacket, 32 waist.

Thanks OP… will give my review when it arrives.

  • Very few choices when it comes to the only relevant fit, the 'super fitted'.
